This is my Emhar 1/72 Mk.IV Female WWI Tank built in 2012
Built from the box, main paint is Lifecolor, Tracks GW Boltgunmetal. Weathered with GW Washes, Lifecolor Tensocrom and MIG Washes\Rust Effects
Tracks are a bit gappy but quite pleased with how it turned out
Just finished this one
A quick, fun build inspired by seeing some real M113s at last weeks War & Peace show
Found an Italeri (ex-Esci?) M113\M163 Vulcan version in the stash, I added some plastic rod and strip to the turret to make it look busier than the basic plastic parts provided, its not accurate but it looks more the part to me.
A mix of kit and spares box decals were added over Vallejo Model Air Olive Drab and Dark Green, I experimented with various MIG and Humbrol enamel washes (the latter very heavily thinned) with Humbrol weathering powders mixed with both the washes and separately with a decalcote\water mix
Some thin wire adds the finishing touch for the aerials
Off to find some weedkiller now ….
Visited this show yesterday down in Kent (United Kingdom), fantastic collection of military (and some civilian) vehicles and associated things.
Here are a few pictures I took whilst there, hope you enjoy
